The Siege at Tsumei Village; Event Item Farm
Bored of Raptors? Don't have EOTN?
Take a break and grab your favorite factions character & get the quest: Siege at Tsumei Village.
Load a skill bar that does AOE dmg, a self heal and prepare to dominate a lot of lvl 3s.
Since I only have a Rt and Sin eligible for this quest. I've tested a 100 blades sin, channeling rt and a VWK rt, as well as some ele and monk variants. The VWK rt has been the easiest to use, and is quite fast.
Zone into Sunqua, run forward and agro the first wave, so the townies don't pickup agro.
Kill the group on the right first, as the spawns on the right are very close (if you kill with Ancestors you'll pull the left groups together for easy pickup and spirit rift). Once the first wave is dead, the second group on the right should have spawned and picked up agro.
With VWK up you can pickup your items while you kill the second wave on the right. Once that second right group is dead, the last group on the right will spawn just up the hill, kill, pickup and resign.
Don't bother completing the quest as it takes to long. It's faster to just do the first wave, the ones on the right and resign, keeping the quest active.
*rezone trick* first walk once into Sunqua Vale, then back into town, then zone again. This way, every time you resign from then on you won't appear in the middle of town, rather at the door way, where you can simple press "x", ";", "space" so your rezone takes only 4 seconds.
With a good build you can get repeatable runs in the 40sec to 1min mark (including zoning) killing 25 foes. I'm fairly certain a primary ele should be getting faster times.
Of course, you won't be getting golds or rep points, but it's easy, and any prof can do it; fast.
Rt: [build=OAWjMMhsITLBWMdieTOOwlEPHAA]
*untested
Mo: Shield of Judgement.
Pa: 100 blades w speed boost.
Wa: 100 blades w shadow step.
El: Fire nuker
Me: Sig Illusions Fire nuker? echo vwk?
De: 100
Ra: Splinter Barrage
Ne: Aura of the Lich?
*post a template, I'll put it here.

you don't get a damn thing from this. 3 runs 2 snowman summoners. youre better off killing charr one by one outside ascalon or something retarded like that.

I am getting a few items each run, so it is fairly decent for those without EotN

I don't think anyone is as disappointed at the drops as I am!
I found this quest just after the last event weekend, and was waiting to post/test.
Turns out the drop rate for event items is about 1/3 the rate of raptors. Which I didn't think was possible. I thought event items were exempt from loot scaling. Although that might explain the discrepancy between kegs and raptors.
Lower level foe; less event items, higher level foe; more event items?

This quest, like every other one on Shing Jea island, is for Canthan-born characters only.
A moot point though, as we seem to have discovered a hitherto-unknown low-level loot scale.
